Research project run by the Danish Building Research Institute
3XN is participating in a research project run by the Danish Building Research Institute concerning the use of phase changing materials in the buildings of tomorrow.
The purpose of the project is to improve indoor temperatures by the use of phase changing materials, that is, materials which changes state from fluently to solid at a given temperature. The cooling effect achieved by the material can at best replace air-conditioning systems – or in any case reduce the current energy consumption significantly.
