Low energy workshop

Integrated design solutions and energy optimization in buildings

In cooperation with SBI, Esbensen and consulting engineers, 3XN recently organized an all day workshop that focused on integrated design solutions and energy optimization in buildings. The program was divided into 4 themes; daylight, solar heat, carcass and technique.

These themes were processed through lectures and sketching assignments and emphasized the interaction between architecture and energy in relation to the new energy requirements. The day ended with group tasks, where ideas for lowering the energy consumption for the KPMG project where discussed.

The workshop served as a good inspiration for the continues work of 3XN in terms of realizing a sustainable architecture.
