On 23 November 2007, the R&D department hosted the annual 3XN theme day. Six different workshops headed by experts in the field discussed:

Sustainable City Development (Jan Gehl), Digital Architecture (Ali Tabatabai and Anders Antoft), New Materials (Torben Lenau and Edwin Stokes), Green Architecture (Rob Marsh and Jesper Bjerregaard), Digital Production (Anders Lendager), Integrated Design (Kristian Winter, Stefan Thielmann and Jonas Petersen).
